Reactor 600 stereo strange bug with roon via airplay? - Wyvrn - 11-Jul-2020 Hi guys I have a pair of new reactor 600, one is new and one is second hand When I pair the two and use roon via AirPlay , it would sometimes trigger a strange bug : 1) I can see two airplay devices in room settings (shouldn’t it be only one when in stereo?) 2) sometimes the left channel will have sync issues and stutters , when this happens it would happen semi permanently (even when I play Spotify it will stutter and only on the left side) 3) if I unpair the stereo and then play mono on the affected channel; the sound plays okay? As in no stutter 4) if I flip the channel , this exact same reactor still glitches Do I have a faulty unit? If it’s faulty why does it play perfect in mono mode? Has anyone encountered this yet ? RE: Reactor 600 stereo strange bug with roon via airplay? - avta - 11-Jul-2020 I haven’t had that happen with a similar setup. I would suggest resetting both units to factory settings by holding in the power button for 7 seconds until you get a flashing light and confirmation sound. I believe the light color is violet when the reset occurs. RE: Reactor 600 stereo strange bug with roon via airplay? - Charcharius - 14-Jul-2020 I don’t use Roon, but any oddities I’ve had like this have been fixed with a factory reset. You may need to reset it twice in a row. |
