The surprise of the last year or even longer has been the MUON Pro streaming system - https://www.networkacoustics.com/muon/
It’s really incredible what it does to filtering the various types of noise within a network environment. The MUON Pro is the 3rd evolution of the solution developed by Network Acoustics. There are already many reviews and user feedbacks around.
I did a lot of testing / comparing and it considerably improved sound quality. So definitely give it a try.

Can you list the devices you compared it to? What was the test environment (i.e. what was before and after the filter)? Also, what exactly were the differences?

New product sighted! ifi has a new ethernet isolator, the ifi LAN iSilencer. i'm keen try get some to try. seems reasonably priced for a gigabit isolation device.

On the cheaper side i'd like to recommend Topping HS02 for galvanic isolation of the USB connection streamer to DAC: https://www.tpdz.net/productinfo/953487.html

To me an immediately audible improvement in sound. And i'm not hunting for finest details. I really didn't expect such an obvious change (improvement).
Maybe less obvious to not audible if you have a really well designed high quality/end streamer.
So, worth a trial in my ears.

In contrast, Ifi iPurifier 3 was a total disappointment: https://ifi-audio.com/products/ipurifier3/
Immediately found there was a significant decrease in sound quality.

I've posted this elsewhere before, but this audiophile optical USB cable was a game changer for me, and only about $200. No better galvanic isolation than optical. Easily bests the AQ Diamond and Curious Cable. Receiver side requires a separate 5V power supply though, and the source side is USB 3.0 only (doesn't work with USB 2.0 ports).

Indeed. I have introduced optical galvanic isolation and it’s brought a big sound improvement. Furthermore, no need to invest in expensive ‘audio’ components. I used commercial products, total cost 92GBP. My system now is Roon core on sonicTranspoter i5>ethernet>TP-Link media converter>1m Multimode 62.5/125 Duplex Fibre Patch Cable>TP-Link media converter>very short ethernet>D250. I need to add a linear power supply for the downstream media converter, but it works fine with the standard supplied SMPS. Highly recommended. There’s a good instructional video on how to do it on the Small Green Computer website.

My ifi LAN iSilencers have arrived. They also work at 2.5G ethernet speeds even though the specs say it supports 1000/100/10 ethernet. They work well to provide that extra layer of galvanic isolation between network devices.

Optical galvanic isolation is used widely in different ways. I also use two different switches(Ubiquiti Edge Switch 10X and SOTM SNH-10G) connected to each other with fiber-optical patch cable. The DAC is connected to the audio switch with a short ethernet cable in this case. The system becomes a little bit complex in terms of system topology; but you can achieve great results by spending less and do not need very expensive digital cables anymore.

A new product that might be of interest to some....

https://www.mutec-net.com/product_ref10_nano.php#features

Currently listed as £1745, so quite a bit "more affordable" than the REF10, which is currently £3299. (or you could compare to the £5100 Mutec REF10 SE 120, if you want to save even more money)

Noting just how good the jitter measurements are for some of the other newish products covered in this thread, I do pause to wonder if external clock like this are the way to go. That said, I am still very much enjoying my system with a REF10 lurking in the digital front end. I am just not sure if it is the way I would go now if starting from scratch.

I was wondering if you are only using the Ref 10 to clock the MC3+USB? As far as I remember, you sold the SoTM stack for and iFi Zen stream.
I had two Mutec MC3+USBs in series with linear power supplies clock by a Ref 10 and that - as a DDC - was easily surpassed by a Denafrips Gaia which has two OCXO clocks. I already sold one Mutec, the other one is waiting to be sold. The Ref 10 is clocking my SMS-200 ultra neo and makes a small difference. I also removed the txUSB ultra (also clocked) from the chain as it made zero difference with the Gaia which has both galvanic and optical isolation on the USB and all other inputs.

I'm looking into buying the new Denafrips streamer which also has HQ Player NAA and will most likely be able to sell the SMS-200 ultra neo and the Ref10 which would only be clocking my Etherregen.

Over the years, trying different stuff, I realized that using something that has an excellent clock inside already is better IMO than using external clocks.
