Hi there
What does devialet do now when the old remote stopped working?

Reboot the speakers and it will pair again.

Strange, several users report that the old remote still works, and that a reboot fixes connection issues.

Contact Devialet Support, they will probably sort out your problem.

My golds hardly noticed a difference when my remote stopped working after my kids dropped it numerous times. Just used either the Spark or Phantom apps. My family however noticed greatly,

FOR What its worth from my experience using the remote with phantoms.
its an "old one" if you consider 5 years old
BUT really that's not old for HIGH END STEREO GEAR
unless you work in marketing or finance for devialet - that's what they would like us to think it is... OLD.

The actions that worked to pair the remote under DOS 1 changed with DOS 2 it seems to me.

Used to shake the remote upside down near a speaker, *when* *nothing is playing* to pair
Note: still see problems pairing if the speakers are in use under DOS2 as well.

But now I just turn it upside down and let it sit on a table near the speakers, then come back and its paired.
Used to see it forget the remote all of the time, but has been fairly well behaved.
But once figured out how to pair it under DOS2 have ... so far. knock knock, not had to think about the remote, its just worked....
