Roon message error: "Audio device in use" - Paperman - 03-Jun-2021

Sometimes, when I set the Roon ethernet input of my Devialet, the sound doesn't start and the screen show the message "Audio device in use".
The others devices connected to Roon works perfectly and I have to reboot the Roon OS to start playing.
Any idea how to solve the issue?
Roon says that the problem is on Devialet side....
Thank you,
Alberto

Is this AIR? Did you try to unplug/replug the ethernet cable (wait ~ 20 sec)? Is wifi enabled on the Devialet?
I believe I only saw this with AIR. Make sure you have no other AIR instances running (i.e. Devialet's PC/MAC driver).
It's a known problem. I am not sure there is a good solution to this. And yes, it is a Devialet problem, not Roon. If it becomes too bothersome you could switch to use the USB input, either direct from Roon core or via a ethernet-to-usb device running RAAT.

Yes, AIR integrated in Roon… yes I tryed many times to unplug, works immediately, but don’t solve the issue.Wi-Fi is disabled.

When I had the 240/250 I preferred to use the AES/EBU input. At some point I got a Mutec. Better sound than any other option with microRendu->Mutec->Devialet. And the stability using Roon RAAT to microRendu was fabulous.
It is very 'clean' to use AIR (or RAAT on the CI models) to the Devialet. In most cases the Devialet is networked anyway, so why not? Your last chance with AIR is to try wifi (you may have tried this already).
