Maybe this is a known feature for long, if so, I am sorry to take up your time. Anyway – I have just found out a, for me, very good way to use the old Dialog. My listening room is very small and I can only house my two Phantoms Gold, there is no room for a CD and DAT player, they have been placed in another room on the second floor, without being used. My problem was – how to connect these players to the Golds? Long cables is not an good option. In the players room (on the second floor)I have a WiFi wireless connection unit (Synology MR2200, mesh) with a LAN port. The Dialog must be connected via ethernet – does not work only with wireless connection (the Arch can handle that I think). When I connected the Dialog to the MR2200s LAN port it worked!! I can now use the CD and DAT units (both optical) together with my Golds thanks to the Dialog!
