Phantom Stands - Marcio_Atouguia - 17-Sep-2022 Hi guys, So I have two phantoms and been trying to find alternative stands for them as I feel the Devialet offering is costly. So I’m hoping I am not the only one who has been looking for something like this and maybe you guys have alternatives and can share some pictures or suggestions. One of the things I am curious is the mounting clip at the bottom of the phantoms is not available anywhere else but I think that you don’t really need to worry about that. RE: Phantom Stands - Snoopy8 - 17-Sep-2022 Any speaker stand will do, as long as you can adjust them to point at ear level. This is what I used https://devialetchat.com/Thread-Found-Gold-with-a-Pair-of-Phantoms RE: Phantom Stands - Memphis_1984 - 18-Sep-2022 Hi Although I haven’t bought anything from Audio Chic, I did speak with their support and they are very open for custom builds. I wanted a stand with an oval top to fit my phantom gold, and that wouldn’t be a problem. However I live in Denmark, so the shipping + customs cost would be more then 1/3 of the total price. So I had to decline their offer. Anyway, take a look: https://audiochic.co.uk/ RE: Phantom Stands - Marcio_Atouguia - 18-Sep-2022 (18-Sep-2022, 09:19)Memphis_1984 Wrote: HiThese are cool but just as expensive “almost” as the Devialet ones. This is what I used I was mostly worried about stability really but I might go down this route I think RE: Phantom Stands - Snoopy8 - 19-Sep-2022 (18-Sep-2022, 15:39)Marcio_Atouguia Wrote:If stability is the issue, then better to put them on a cupboard, but sit the Golds on Isoacoustics stands or pucks.(17-Sep-2022, 12:47)Snoopy8 Wrote: Any speaker stand will do, as long as you can adjust them to point at ear level. This is what I used It is difficult to find a stand that is the same height as the Devialet one. Most stands are taller and hence you should tilt the Golds so that they point at the ear level. RE: Phantom Stands - Marcio_Atouguia - 20-Sep-2022 Yes I hear you. But you got my attention about the isomounts I didn’t think the phantoms generated that much vibration tbh RE: Phantom Stands - Snoopy8 - 21-Sep-2022 (20-Sep-2022, 12:37)Marcio_Atouguia Wrote: Yes I hear you. That's what we came out with for my secondary set of Phantom stands. Same height as the originals. RE: Phantom Stands - ragwo - 01-Oct-2022 Here's the solution I have used since 2016. Really ugly but works like a charm. I believe I paid about €20 for the brackets at my local metal shop. |
