Hi from Florida. Just recently joined. Great forum you guys have here. I've been poking around for a while.
My Devialet 400 arrived yesterday and it just keeps getting better and better.
I'm using a Lumin A1 via BNC to COAX into my Devialet. I tried the Auralic Aries, but it doesn't convert DSD to PCM on the fly. The Lumin does. I also tried JRiver for MAC via AIR and lets just say, didn't have much luck. JRiver for MAC (latest version) is still buggy has heck. I also had white noise issues with AIR. Hopefully Devialet fixes this issue.
I'm looking at the totaldac server via AES-EBU as a possible option, but want to ensure DSD to PCM on the fly works as advertised without any hiccups. Also wonder how you can stream TIDAL to the totaldac server as well. Possible?
