I will be disappointed if there will be a new Expert: that would be confirmation that the current Expert line has been completely abandoned.

So what? Expert is still a great unit. I have a Pass Labs power amp, the latest model. Shall I write to the factory to stop with new inventions and models? Or as soon as the new model appears sell my amp and purchase a new one? The situation for Devialet is not bright: doing nothing, no updates, and no upgrades on the Expert line leads to higher sales of used Expert units. Take a look at the Hi-Fi Shark and you will see more and more Experts on sale and prices are going down. One Italian put his Expert Pro 220 CI for 2.400 euros and it is 2 months on sale, and still available. Another German one published his 440 CI for 5.999 Euros (and it is negotiable) - a month on hi-fi shark and still available. So, no worries about your unit, it will keep the price better if Deviealet doesn't give up on the Expert line.
