Subject: Request for Information and Clarification Regarding Devialet Expert Pro Products
Dear Devialet Team,
We have learned that as of October 24, 2024, Devialet has replaced the Expert Pro product line with the Astra product. However, there has been no official statement regarding the status of the Expert Pro series following this transition. As current Expert Pro users, we are concerned about the future of our products and would like to request clarification on the following points:
- Maintenance and repair support timeline for existing Expert Pro products: We would appreciate information on how long support and maintenance will continue for these products.
- Status of the Core Infinity and Configurator: These products have not received any updates or maintenance for approximately four years. We would like to know what the future holds for them.
- Future of software such as Devialet Air and Expert Remote: These platforms have not been maintained for some time, and we seek clarification on their long-term availability and support.
If Devialet has indeed ceased all updates and support for the Expert Pro product line as of today, we would like to submit the following requests:
- Open up the source of the current firmware to users: We request that the existing firmware be made available to users, along with the necessary licensing agreements.
- Sharing of the source code for the AIR, Apple, and Android Remote applications: To ensure continued usability of these applications, we ask that the source code be released.
- Release of the Configurator platform’s source code: To maintain the usability and manageability of the current systems, we request that the source code for the Configurator be made accessible.
As long-term users, we wish to extend the lifespan of our products and work collaboratively with Devialet in this process. We kindly ask that our requests be considered.
Sincerely,

Have you heard back from Devialet?
I got this response from Devialet Tech Support regarding continue supports for the Expert Line:
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here at Devialet. I hope you're well.
Devialet Expert will continue to be supported from a hardware perspective, that is, repair services will still be available. Software-wise, for Expert Pro there are no significant software issue or bugs detected for the past years, the user experience will continue to be good for the streaming services currently available.
Concerning future upgrades to the Expert line, there are no plans for any. There will be trade-in options for Expert and Expert Pro to Devialet Astra.
If you have any other questions or concerns please don't hesitate to get back to me,
Kindest,

My petition/support request is still open and waiting for a response, I assume I have been ignored because I asked them public and private bunch of questions and none of them were replied. Zero.
