Devialet Phantom I acting weird - D3v14137 - 14-Dec-2024
Hello! I recently purchased a Phantom I (the sound is amazing), but I’ve encountered a few issues.
When starting up, my speaker doesn’t play the full startup sound and emits a faint noise before the startup sound begins.
Sometimes, when playing a YouTube video via AirPlay, and if the Phantom I is already connected (I haven’t fully tested Bluetooth yet), the video completely freezes if I load the page or video after connecting the speaker. But if I load the page or video before selecting the Phantom I in the AirPlay list, everything works fine. This issue occurs intermittently.
Occasionally, the speaker doesn’t power off unless I use the Devialet app.
Lastly, when powered off but still plugged in, the speaker correctly plays the power-off sound but continues to emit a very faint noise, almost inaudible unless I’m in a quiet room.
Is all of this normal, or are some of these issues unusual? Thanks in advance!

The video problem is probably related to Devialet's implementation of airplay... my suggestion is to make sure you're running the latest version of the software. Wish I had advice for your other concerns...
