Following issues I have spotted in my environment:
- Not detecting DD anymore. eARC with Samsung. Source doesn't matter. It worked before with minimal issue for Prime via AppleTV. AppleTV content - no issues before. Satellite TV no issues before
- The Dione does not store the settings I.e. LED goes to default AUTO, I choose usually always on. By this I noticed it. But as well the new setting to power off automatically gets back to default so not activated.
I have asked support to provide me with the last 2.16.1 firmware.
This update really made it worse - at least in my environment.
Unbelievable after 2 years.
This shows Devialets impression and treatment of their customer. Just interested to have nice and unique looking products in their living room.
Focussing and resourced 99% on design - just offering every month a new variant to place some gold.

Response from Devialet so far:
- Regarding DD: It is a "cosmetic" in the app issue. I can only partially confirm. It seems in some cases it plays properly DD. (After a factory reset). Still the issue is, as for me I had issues with DD detection before i.e. for Prime Video, you will not see when it will be ok
- Regarding lost settings: Nothing
- Regarding rollback: Ask for more time.
So I finally still not recommend the upgrade:
- The only real new feature "Auto Power-OFF" does not work properly, as the setting will be lost at every power-on
- More bugs than before

So - last Update from Devialet: no ability to rollback.
So if you have upgraded and having issues you are fucked.
I guess it is the time to look for something else.....

Finally - time to say goodbye - Dione sold.
Form follows function and not vice versa.
Delivering such a minor upgrade after more then 2 years with such an amount of issues is not acceptable.
