I am very curious if it will work with Experts. We will see soon but if it doesn't we know there is no hope to get it

I just assumed it would work, why do you think it might not?
I’m hoping to see the full benefit of Spotify Connect on the Expert.
If it impresses I’ll likely stop my Tidal subscription.

It may require an update to the library that is within Devialet's operating system. I don't know for sure if that's required, but see the announcement from Spotify: Lossless is available on mobile, desktop, and tablet, as well as on many devices that support Spotify Connect, including Sony, Bose, Samsung, Sennheiser, and more. Support for additional devices, including those from Sonos and Amazon, arrives next month. Maybe the reason they are going with a phased rollout by brand is because those brands need to release new software.

Yes, the Devialet Expert 140 Pro can support Spotify's new lossless streaming feature, provided certain conditions are met.
Please note that spotify has introduced a lossless audio streaming option for Premium subscribers, offering 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC quality. This feature is accessible through Spotify's mobile, tablet, and desktop apps, as well as select third-party devices via Spotify Connect. To enable it, navigate to the Media Quality settings in the Spotify app and select the Losslessoption. Note that Bluetooth connections may not support full lossless playback due to bandwidth limitations; wired connections are recommended for optimal quality.
I have my doubts that is accurate. Unfortunately I walked away from my chat window and am now not getting an answer to my follow-up question.

How can you tell? By sound quality?
