Astra Turns On By Itself - Factory Films - 14-Sep-2025 Anyone's Astra turning on by itself? I will turn it off and in the AM its back on or I will leave for work and come home to see it's on. I am 100% positive I have turned it off. RE: Astra Turns On By Itself - Ron - 14-Sep-2025 My Expert 440pro has the same issue's. Switching on or off randomly. Interference from my neighbours. However, since about 2 months, it's over. Someone moved or ditched the appliance that caused it. I thought the Astra no longer used the Zigbee-protocol for the remote? Because that's the way it came in, i discovered after disconnecting all the rest. RE: Astra Turns On By Itself - ada - 14-Sep-2025 Maybe it doesn’t use Ziggee, but does Devialet have good engineers to design new boards? Perhaps they kept some components because they were salvaged from the Experts.
Astra Turns On By Itself - ghosttipper - 15-Sep-2025 I have the symptoms since using a HomePod mini Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk RE: Astra Turns On By Itself - Ron - 15-Sep-2025 A HomePod mini sends "Thread" messages, just like an Apple-tv 4K box. I suspected the latter. My neighbour had one. We are getting closer. I do not know whetter zigbee and thread are compatible or can interfere with each other. RE: Astra Turns On By Itself - Factory Films - 18-Sep-2025 Ok this might make sense. I have a Thermostat that is controlled with my app that is Zigbee and I have a Google Nest which is a pod that provides a wireless mesh for stronger connection. RE: Astra Turns On By Itself - Ron - 20-Sep-2025 I suggest you create a ticket at support@devialet.com. I did also in october 2022, but they didn't solve anything. Their conclusion was that "it was something in the environment of the amp". In fact, this is correct. However, the communication between remote and amp is not secure(!). Otherwise this wouldn't happen. That is their problem. Funny the issue is still there with Astra, as it uses bluetooth instead of zigbee, as far as i know. Maybe the zigbee electronics are still on the pcb-board of the Astra, as "Ada" suggests. |
