New Phantoms and new firmware for old Phantoms.

On September 17th 2025 Devialet released the firmware 2.19.1
This release requires Devialet app version 1.25 or later. It includes the following improvements compared with DOS 2.18.3:

- [Phantom 95 dB / 98 dB] Press the Play/Pause button three times to go to the previous track.
- Faster update downloads for users in China.

Actually, Spotify Connect Lossless already works in 2.18! (Don't know about 2.19, I did not do the update yet... I guess?)
For the optical direct, it does not seem necessary... unless "other bug fixes and improvements" apply? Whatever that means
Still, I personally would update. It's always better to have your system as up to date as possible.

I'm worrying if the new firmware suppress the preformance of the previous version of Phantoms... just like what iOS does.

No changes in terms of performance so far with the newer firmware (Phantoms 105dB older and newer, and Phantom 98dB here).

New Phantom Ultimate released, targeting high-res and degraded original 108dB into silver color...

May I ask, how do you know it’s working? When playing on Phantom via Spotify app, lossless tag is not being visible at least for me. I am on the latest DOS for Phantom I Golds.
