220 pro and Vandersteen 5a

I’m new here and looking for some of you who might have a similar combo. I just ordered 220pro with the new streamer board to pair with my Vandersteen 5A.
Well Sam is not available yet, and my question is if there is someone that have experience with this combo and can share his issues ?

The 220 should have no trouble driving the top three speakers, leaving the built in amp to power the low end. I see that there are controls to adjust the top and bottom end, so you should be able to get them nicely dialled in to your room. Did you manage to get an audition of the Dev driving the Vandersteens? What made you go for Devialet amplification? Good luck with your combination and don’t forget to tell us how you get on.

I bought vandies and i had an intagrated ss amp. According to requirements of vandersten i have to place a hi pass filter between pre amd amp. I cannot do that on the T+A pa3000hv. A frend said devialet can be programmed with the high pass. I did try, but only expert 200. I liked the middle and the hights, but the bass was cut off. I think we programmed dev wrong. As i understannd with the streamer board dev becomes realy one small box solution so i take the risk as this would make me get rid of the boxes cables and stop experimenting i can always buy a second one if i need more power. Wiill tell you when i get it.
