Hi long story short the dealer who sold me his demo pair of golds damaged on when packing and had it replaced.
The older one with a J serial number arrived with yellow gold side panels - didn’t think twice
Then the supposedly brand new replacement arrived form Devialet - and it had rose gold side panels.
Then it for me thinking my previous pairs also had Rose Gold sides - and that now I had a mismatched pair due the older one having out of date yellow gold (difference is night and day obvious)
After quite some careful discussions Devialet convinced me the new ones (which also had an off white plastic casing issue) were the problem and they had been doing yellow gold for many years now. There only though was they thought it was going back on demo and sent a non perfect model not realising it was for a customer
Anyway - they replaced it quick sharp with an amazing service
However the replacement also has Rose Gold side panels!! Am thoroughly confused
Can anyone tell me if they have Rose Gold side panels on a reasonably newly purchased pair?
I am thinking the agent must have been confused!
