Because there is no eq option in the new update,maybe a rme adi-2 dac is a option

The adi-2 has only analog outputs so is not a good device for Phantoms. I'd suggest Roon is the best option here as it has (a very good) parametric EQ, a convolution engine and Roon can play directly to Phantoms with RAAT

I think it even sounds better then the digital input with my cambridge xn2
For roon: i must get into that ..never used that
