Sorry for the slow response, have been off the grid, and the cable sold this morning on another platform.
In response to your question…
I have been slowly building up my Shunyata components in my system as you can see from my sig. Each change has made improvement. The Denali/power cords have made a big improvement when it comes to the noise floor and I believe they are ideal to reduce cross contamination between device, particularly as both the Innuos Statement and the Devialets have are computer based.
The improvement of the Omega USB, which I had never planned to buy but got an opportunity I could not refuse, was related to detail, there was just that extra bit of clarity, background vocals more discernible, a definite upgrade to a fine cable.
I will say that the Omega needs to be in the right system as sometimes you can have to much of a good thing, as with all systems the balance needs to right between components. The Shunyata loom is doing that for me right now.
As for the price difference between between Audioquest and Shunyata, I have long since declined to argue the benefits of more expensive components, except with my wife when making a business case for something new!
