Dynavector DV 20X2-H settings
#1
Hi everyone,

I have a Dynavector 20X2H, high output MC cartridge (on a Michell Gyro SE with TechnoArm "A"), probably the only Dynavector model for which there is no preset in RAM. I'm using the same settings as a normal MM with 3,0mV as maximum input level. Any suggestions as to the other settings?

Thanks!

Hi there,
I have the same cartridge as you and now I'm stuck at setting up the Devialet, mine one is Devialet Expert 200.
My turntable is Clearaudio Concept.
Can you please share with me your setting that you think it works?

I found the specs of the cartridge as below:

Type : High output MC cartridge with Flux damper and Softened magnetism
Output voltage : 2.8mV
Frequency response : 20 - 20,000Hz (±2dB)
Channel Separation : 25 dB (at 1KHz)
Channel balance : 1.0 dB (at 1KHz)
Compliance : 12 x 10-6 cm/dyne
Impedance : R=150 ohms
Stylus tip : Micro Ridge Nude diamond
Cantilever : 6mm length hard aluminum pipe
Tracking force : 1.8 - 2.2 grams
Recommended load impedance: >1000 ohms
Weight : 9.2grams
