400 vs 800 Performance

Anyone have any real experience comparing the 400 vs the 800
in terms of performance and sound? My guess is that it is just
more of everything, but some very specific comments and insight
would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I started with the 200 about a year ago, upgrading from the fabulous Ayon Triton integrated tube amps. I love both but loving the Deviate much more because of its size, wright and convenience. But most of all, the sound is so clean and just right. This is the best amp i have owned in over 35 years.
I then moved up to 400 and it just opened up a new dimension of experience. More dynamics, cleaner, more details and transparency. I thought to myself i should have just jumped into the 400 model.
A month later, the dealer called to say a customer couldn't pick up his 800 and I could have it for at a special price.
The improvement is minor if there's any. I believe the limitation is in my speakers. It's not revealing any of the benefits. I could have just been as happy with the 400.
