So, ideally, you should have a set of cables having 4mm banana plugs & a set of cables having spades. 

That's an interesting tip mixing bananas and spades at the amp end. Would allow different cables for bass and treble as well if you wanted to do so.

Using all 4 outputs on a amp that runs in bridge mode is nothing I have ever seen as you uses both the positiv outputs on the amp in bridge mode.

Same amplifier in bridge mode. The negativ amplifier is phase reverted 180 degrees on the input.
