changing maximum power (watts) D220
#1
Hi there, I got a D220 new out of the box. The stickers and display say it's a D220.
But when I check the data in the settings, the maximum output only says 2 x 200 watt.
Now I can change the settings to 180 watt, but when I try 220 it only goes to 200 watt!??

Am I doing something wrong or is it a upgraded D200 with old hardware?

I have no intensions of upgrading to the 220 Pro.  I'm working on moving to an Ayre AX-5-Twenty.  Yes I still have the Sabrinas.

Two responses sequentially in order of posting:

1. Please verify version of firmware you are running (for poster who has a Expert Pro 220 that only displays 200 watts)

2. @ Finn - Yes - an upgraded 220 Pro should play as loud as the 200 prior to upgrade. I would double check settings, there is no way burn in will remedy the issue.

Updated the firmware to latest, and yes the 220 Watts are all available. Not a noticable difference in SQ, but a relieve nonetheless everything functions as it should Smile
