DIY Speakers?
#1
Long story short, I got a Devialet D Premier in a company giveaway and now I need speakers to go with them. I also have a set of Devialet Silvers so would want something that could compete on the same level as that without being too expensive.

I am a mechanical engineer and love building things so I'm also considering DIY speakers for more bang for buck. Has anybody tried using the D premier with something like the LXmini? Is that audiophile blasphemy? Is it even possible to take care of the crossover on the LXmini? I am no audiophile by any means so any help is appreciated!

A pair of the LXmini requires four amplifier channels. The crossover is active in the form of either an active XO by Nelson Pass or a MiniDSP unit. As far as I can see there is no passive filter for this design.
