how do you power off your devialet?

I have my devialet connected to an isolation transformer.
When I turn off my d200, there is still a red light on at the back.
Then I turn off my isolation transformer and that red light shuts off.

Essentially I am unplugging the d200 everytime. 
Anyone powers off this way?  am i harming the d200 by not letting it cool down?

No idea! I press the button icon on my iPhone or the single silver one on the supplied brick. It switches off as I assume Devialet intended. I have no special power supply, no special power cable other than the one supplied with the 250 Pro and so far it has no clicks, hums or colouration that I can perceive.

I also attended the HiFi show in Bristol at the weekend and took the opportunity to listen to a selection of cables ranging from about £27 a metre to about £1,500 a metre, and it really didn't do it for me. However, a pair of B&W 802 D3s or Wilson Benesch Act One Evolutions would be more than acceptable.

Hi Burgundy,

I also use an isolation transformer in my setup.
Typically only power off my Devialet using the power switch at remote or the iOS remote app.
Typically the Devialet is still on standby and my isolation trans runs 24/7.
The power consumption is low so I am not so bothered by it.

My Aurender needs to be on standby when not in use for convenience so powering down the whole system is not an option.

I power my 440s off with a long press on the remote control off button. I find that a short press only puts the D into what I assume is standby. The app will only switch the amp into standby afaik.

Devialet provides no true off switch, so I use a power distributor (conditioner) which does have a switch: the Shunyata Denali 6000S. To me wasting 28W to do nothing is ridiculous so I solved that engineering error for Devialet with a trivial little switch (which happens to be built into a device which also cleans up the Devialet power problems thereby making it sound better when on and feel better when off).

i think my setup is similar to yours.
I use a bryston BIT 15 to condition the power and i switch it off when i am done.
I feel better when everything is off....with kids at home, i don't want any electronics catching fire or kids getting shocked
