Popping noise with 120 phono stage
#1
I have just added a rega rp3 to my120. It plays, but in the background there are a repetitive series of popping, then it stops, then it starts again.

I have looked for all areas of interference and it seems to be related to the phono stage in the unit itself. It happens whether there is a signal going through or not. Has anyone had these issues?

Could be interference from the wi-fi module, as described here: https://help.devialet.com/hc/en-us/artic...hono-input. There is an option under Phono->Advanced Settings to disable the wi-fi module when the phono input is selected, which is intended to avoid that.

Ah, I will try that. I have wifi on and never successfully made it work with Spark so I will focus on that. Thanks.

OK, set the wifi off in the phono stage setup and problem gone - it is the wifi module searching for a network ;-)
