XLR --> AES/EBU

my CD player has left and right channel XLR outputs.
But the devialet has a single AES/EBU input.

How do you put XLR into AES/EBU?

Your left right XLR outputs are balanced analog outputs.

AES/EBU is a digital input.

How rdo you put XLR into AES/EBU?

Well the short answer is you dont. You cant mix analog and digital. 

If your cd has a coaxial digital output you can connect that to either an digital RCA input or I also think you can run it to the AES input with an adapter like the RCA to XLR cable between Master and slave.
