How to hard-reset Dialog?

I mean, very hard reset.

It's been a few weeks since I last used my original Silver and the AirPlay Dialog, and I decided to play some music. Silence. Nothing was showing up in AirPlay, and I couldn't get the Silver to play via Bluetooth. So I looked at the Dialog, which is in my closet, and the light was off.

I read the resetting instructions (https://help.devialet.com/hc/en-us/artic...nd-Dialog-) and have been madly tapping buttons three times to get the things to reset. I finally, after a half hour, got my Silver to reset, and I have it working again.

But my Dialog remains with its light off, no matter how much I press the button. The only article I can find about having no light is https://help.devialet.com/hc/en-us/artic...d-no-light- which is vaguely insulting ("are you sure you plugged it into a working outlet?").

What's the best way to do a hard reset on my Dialog to get it working again?

There's a way to force a firmware download to the Dialog, it involves a switched power strip and a on/off procedure I can't remember nor find at the moment. I'll update if I find the instructions.

[Edit: couldn't get the latter to have any effect.]

Yes, that's what I was thinking about. Have you contacted Devialet Support? Seems like your Dialog is dead, should be a warranty case.

I have contacted them but they haven't gotten back to me. I'm planning on dropping by the Devialet store tomorrow (I live in NYC).

I was hoping there was some button to push with a paperclip, but I guess not.
