Helllo @Confused! I'll probably post my conclusions regarding SQ on a different, more relevant, thread (after my impressions settle down), but in a nutshell, I tend to agree with those who say the improvement is subtle (not dramatic), but an important one nonetheless. The unit does sound more relaxed to my ears. For example, the strings (violins) on worse classical recordings don't sound as "pinched" as before. That is, they sound fuller. Also, I think definition may be improved, but this one is more difficult to judge without a side-by-side comparison.
