Just been trying out an App I found that has sounded quite good.
MconnectLite is the app. It quickly found my Unitiserve and loaded the collection then I selected my iPhone as Play to and changed the option to play to my Phantom room rather than iPhone.
Sound is pretty good and seems stable. It will play entire albums and you can create playlists.
I have run some comparisons with the app on AirPlay against my direct QED quartz optical into the dialog and it compares well. I think there's a little more bass using the QED but not a lot in it.
I have never used AirPlay before although as it's lossless I guess it should compare well.
Another option for connecting music stored in a multitude of places.
