Google using AI for Room Correction
#21
I'm also interested in room correction. I've done what I can physically and want to deal with the rest electronically. Roon's not the answer as it can't deal with the phono inputs.
Garrard 401 in AMD plinth, 12" Wand tonearm with a Sumiko Blackbird LO; Cyrus CDxT; MacBook Pro with Audirvana Plus; Sonos ZP80; Devialet D220; Martin Logan ELS Electromotion.

The rest would be bass .. treble and mid should not be corrected via DSP
I would add 2 subs and control them via the devialets pre outs
Google "swarm of subs"
The subs will be used to destroy nodes and suckouts and smooth the room...
Roon/tidal > Squeezebox touch  > Trinnov St2 or DIRAC (minidsp ddrc-22d) > Dual mono D premiers > Vivid Audio Giya G1 Spirits  ...fully treated  dedicated 6x8m room

Devialet has the processing power to do appropriate room correction. And as other leading HiFi / High-End brands know about the importance of room accoustics and it's impact on overal sound quality they seamlessly integrate it already (Linn etc.)
Hopefully they come up with a solution soon that is convenient to use for the majority of its customers.
