Devialet Dante Dongle
#11
I just had a thought. The new streamer board on the Expert is supposed to work with Phantoms to make a 5.1 system. So there's perhaps your Dante player.

I think this is a good speculation Jean-Marie! I have always wondered why Phantoms had such high latency,  but not being time compensated. Devialet has never showed us lots of Phantoms synced and controlled by a single Dialog (not to my knowledge), so we had no way of understanding how this worked. The Dante dongle is maybe meant for installers and not audiophiles. We still do not know what sample rates and bit depths the thing supports.
