New Melco Firmware
#1
V3.70 Firmware is out now, and there's new minim server software available for Melco users too.

Not seen any release notes, but have done the upgrade(s) and it all sounds fine so far.

Cheers - missed that, somehow. Definitely improves the user-friendliness of the system.

Hello, have today with my Klimax the configuration with the Linn tool "Config" changed. When I finished the config, I saw in the device list the Melco N1Z listed as a device. So I can now change the settings of the Twonky server (folder structure etc.) and save. Let's see what's going on! Rolleyes

Hi Womaz,
Supported playback of internet radio with USB-DAC.
Create a playlist file (.m3u) containing the URL of the Internet radio station you can download an internet radio station from
https://www.shoutcast.com to N1ʼs share folder, then you can listen to the radio by selecting from ‘playlist` in navigation tree,
same way as playing a song saved in N1.

Thank you for the reply, much appreciated. That’s a bit to complex and faffy for me . I used to have a Musical Fidelity CLIC and it was great for just browsing internet radio and picking up new channels . I miss that , but obviously not enough Big Grin

I do love the fact that the display now works with Tidal . I almost use tidal exclusively now
