High Sierra has been causing problems elsewhere. I plugged in a new WD Elements external drive and when trying to format it, it got completely trashed and unusable. When I told the WD Service Centre that I was using High Sierra, the guy started swearing. I sent it back to an address in Reading and got a replacement - sent from Poland. Bizarre.
