Faulty Phantom?
#1
One of my gold Phantoms will never connect via PLC. I experimented last night by keeping the mains plugs in the same multi socket and just switched the Phantoms.
The one that always connects via PLC did still connect the same way and the one that always connects via Wi-fi did the same.
Is the Phantom that refuses to connect via PLC faulty or should I not worry about such matters?

I think once you do your set up they will connect with that method. If you want to change connection method you will need to restart the setup procedure.
Current: Phantom Silvers, Oppo 105D (Toslink), Raspberry Pi + Digi+, ROON
Pre-Phantom: PenAudio Rebel2, Nuforce MCH-2C5, Oppo 105D (Analog)

No, connection type can change anytime if "it" (dialog, phantoms) "decides" something is better than what it currently use. Usually mine settle down on 5GHz wifi, but sometimes go back to PLC.

When I got back from vacation last week, it decided on PLC for a few days (after being off for a month) but has once again settled down on 5GHz wifi now.
