Then plug phantom into a wall socket and power on and off as you describe?
Dialog is not involved in the process at all - correct?

Yes. Dialogue is not involved as you’re effectively factory resetting your Phantoms.
One Phantom into router with Ethernet.
One Phantom in power. Nothing else.

I can confirm this procedure (after contact with the Devialet helpdesk).

It is a real procedure but it is not to be used unless you’ve got a faulty Phantom. It’s a way to troubleshoot it before having to actually send it off for replacement.

I’ve used it and it does exactly what I said.

It is definitely not worth using just to force your Phantom’s to upgrade their firmware.

Any major firmware WILL be delivered to everyone.

Outside of stability, the only thing I really wish for is a physical remote that includes a mute button, and perhaps input selector keys. Oh and can function for more than 3 meters away Wink

6 months without a single update.
My guess, they are certainly rewriting in a better way the mess they've created.

Kind of mess is not my experience !!
It could be better, but mess is a very big word in this case!
