Can you also share the converter make you are using now? and any upgrade to high end in this area or these are pretty standard ?

How dd you figure D does not support beyond 24/96 by playing 24/192 and it failed to ready or part of spec defined somewhere ? because this limits the products in search for streamers. USB could be good option for streamer search or digital Coaxial (any limitations here too?)

Devialet toslink max bitrate support is 24/96. It is confirmed by Devialet support.

Digital coax can support up to 24/196.

Yes, this was a disappointing downgrade from the D-Premier to the 120/200/250. I used 24/192 optical into my D-Premier but when I had the first updated to 250 spec it no longer worked, I complained to Devialet who eventually confirmed that the optical inputs had been downgraded (I don't think the support people had been told at first). Luckily for me my second D-Premier was still at Devialet for the update when this was revealed so an engineer fitted the higher spec input to it for me, so now I have a 250 which works at 24/192 optical, which I use as the master.

Interesting and this is good ! At the least Devialet accommodated this. It was not very difficult for Devialet to get optic run at 24/192. Seems like a hardware fix for your D-Dremier. I had almost hoped and my next question to you was "if this could be software fix". Anyways!.
Thanks for sharing!

So you now dont need ifi iTube too correct?

Yes, I don't use iTube anymore. Any analog signals going into Devialet will be converted to digital and re-converted to analog again. I assume this is bad for true hifi fans. Big Grin I just embrace my D200 with full confidence, hope for the best.

It's just off-the-shelf digital toslink to coaxial converter which I bought online. Nothing fanciful. And, very inexpensive.

The link below will show you the picture how it looks like. All descriptions are in Chinese, so if you can read them....great! Big Grin

HK I have some mroe stupid questions.

1) Does Bluesound access NAS on connected to the network?. I saw in the web but not clear to me
2) How is the browsing experience of the folders in NAS drive?
3) indexing of the NAS folders - how long it takes for your size of folders - can you share ?

1. Yes, Bluesound can access my QNap TS-212P NAS but not via DLNA, most likely via uPnP or SAMBA.

2. Browsing is reasonably quick but not as good as Sonos Connect.
3. Indexing is about 1min for every 1000 sounds. Everytime a new album is added to your NAS, you will need to reindex the music all over again. This is something I hate the most. Sonos is much quicker, it just index for new files.

Please take note that Bluesound doesn't support APE and CUE format. I have to convert all my APE and CUE to FLAC or WAV.

Also, Bluesound is using Tunein for radio services. China's Tunein services is limited. Maybe India will be better.

If you absolutely must listen to 24-bit music, then you can consider Bluesound. Otherwise, I think Sonos Connect offers more music services and better interface. Come to think of it, there aren't any other streamer that can offer more value than Sonos. But Sonos can only support up to CD quality, which is 16/44.1 bitrate == to all currently HD music services such as Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer.
