I'm trying to search for something well built, but then I start to look for features like: ground status; wiring status...but, then... I start to look into surge protection....and so it gets complicated, and features start mentioning the word "filter" on it, and I think that gets in the way of PLC?
Does EMI filter gets in the way of PLC?
What are the features of mains blocks I should avoid when buying a mains block for the Silver Phantoms+Dialog?
If any of you are successfully using mains blocks with your Phantoms+Dialog, I'd love to hear about it!
Here are examples I've been considering:
-These ones don't have ground+wiring status, though:
http://www.wiremoldproducts.com/catalog/...C&pid=1228 --> (description says 20V, instead of 120V, but that's just a typing mistake. The brochure has it corrected.)
http://www.wiremoldproducts.com/catalog/...C&pid=1228
This one mentions "EMI filter (Up to 20db for 100K to 20MHz)", but I don't know if that prevents PLC communications, or means any other negatives...and what it seems a plastic housing instead of aluminum....other than that, I don't see anything wrong with it:

Here are some other examples I've been looking at, but they start to mention "EMI/RFI line noise filtering"; "Isolated banks" on them, and like I said...I don't know what to think about that...plus, these 2 below, are 12A, and Devialet support recommended me 15A:
http://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-ISOBAR8...y_23_img_y
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002QPC28?tag=price190-20
These ones are 15A, but again, "filtering":
http://www.amazon.com/Furman-PST-8D-Alum...p_asin_lnk
http://www.amazon.com/Furman-PST-8-Alumi...p_asin_lnk
This one, (same company as 2 above), seems to have less features, but again, "filtering":
http://www.amazon.com/Furman-PST-6-Alumi...160%2C160_
I think I also should look for something that is transparent. AKA, it doesn't change the sound. I mean, I auditioned Phantoms at a dealer, but I haven't listened at home, yet. Why would I use something that changes the sound of what Devialet actually delivers?...
Thank you for your time
