With SAM and DPM on?

Yes, both on. Today, I kept my system running from morning 7:30am till 10pm, and the results are about the same as yesterday:

Amp A: 34
Amp D: 32
PS: 37

Room temp: 21 deg

I wonder what Devialet HQ has changed or added into my system. I'm not complaining, though.

I'm also having FW 9.0.2, but I haven't noticed any differences in temperatures. I got a message from Devialet support saying basically that 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 are identical. 9.0.2 is a technical release from the factory because it "simplifies some tests during production".

The heatsink material might be stuck down better, perhaps making better contact with the case?  I can't really see how the new power filter could make a difference.

Yeah, I think you may be right on the heatsink material. Maybe they have viewed Moreno's tweaks, and they have done something similar to mine. Big Grin

Very low temp...

But don't You think that DPM ON makes THE SOUND worse? I noticed that my 200 with DPM OFF sounds fuller and more powerful...

I have a Devialet 200 made on December 16, 2015, and temperatures almost never reach 40 degrees. Speakers are XTZ 99.36 MkII + SAM, 4 - 8 ohm, 88 dB efficiency, listening for hours at -30 to -20.

I'm leaving my D200 on all the time in order to always have the Analog Amp at 39-42 degrees.
It sounds much better when it's warm.

Agree with Moreno: I've also turned off DPM in order to get the best sound quality.

Hoping the new firmware won't lower the temps. However it seems SQ-wise I'm stuck at 7.1.3 for now anyway.

Talking about temp. I just noticed Amp A jumping quickly to 50/52 while sending DSD64 files via AIR, playing at -10 (I'm running 9.0.1, DPM Off)
The temp. lowered quickly to normal 37 after sending 16/44.
More than the level, I thing the DSD decoding impacts a lot...

I suspect the reason that the temperature was low may be due to the Air Purifier which I've put inside my room. Somehow the air in the room must be being properly circulated and hence, the lower temp. In fact, I felt chilled on my feet even though I have floor heater and socks on.
