Finish and color

Greetings 

I am in the market for a 250 or a 1000.

I can see that the newest version is from 2017, however I can see som slight differences in the finish

For instance the color of the remote is white from models from 2017 and black from a 2020 model?

And are there also differences in the finish on the amp itself from 2017-2020?

And lastly do anyone know how much the finish differs from a 2020 version to the newest 2021 Matt chrome finish?

My understanding is the only difference between previous years and '21 is the matt chrome finish. And the reason for the switch is that Devialet's supplier on the original finish was affected by COVID supply chain issues. Regarding the earlier versions, I have a 1000 I'm going to be putting on the market soon. I bought it as two separate 250's. The first in 2018 and the second in 2019. The advantage of this is that I have two remotes. If you are interested, hit me up.

Just curious, why are you selling your 1000? Is there anything better there? Or just want something different? I have the 800 and the only upgrade I can think of is to 1000. The only thing that I'm missing is a true DSD DAC and maybe MQA.

Honestly, the Devialet wasn't doing the trick for how I was using it. Wound up having to go separates.

@Tueb - some points to note

The only model to have the remote with the white center in the dial was the original D-Premier. You do sometimes see Expert or Pro models with the white remote on the secondhand market, but typically these will be amps that stated life as a D-Premier but were then upgraded, hence ending up as later spec amps but with the original white remote.

Yes. My D250 Pro is white, as is my remote. It started out as a D-Premier, and it still says D-Premier on the removable plate covering the connections.
