Regar Planar 6 Ania vs Ortofon 2M Bronze with a Devialet Expert Pro 220
#11
It wasn’t audible when playing music, but you could hear it when you lifted the stylus - and like many things in this hobby, once you have heard it, it’s hard to “un-hear” that!

Depending on where you live, you should be able to get a used Fono MC for around £200/€240 which would be an excellent partner for the Ania. That said, the Ania Pro is quite a step up from the stock Ania (some people report pronounced inner grove distortion with the standard Ania).

If you can, I would recommend a demo!
