OK, now that you have further clarified that 'clipping' as you originally described this, sounds like 'skipping or stuttering', then unfortunately this sounds like a very typical Devialet AIR issue.
It is not clear from your posts what computers or operating system you are using, but 'skipping or stuttering' sounds exactly like the issues I sometimes get with AIR, in my case with a 100% hard wired Ethernet set up and Windows 10. (similar issues occurred on Windows 8)

The above link is for Windows related AIR issues, but the Mac has not been immune either (although not to the same extent as Windows machines)
