A small follow up. I have now succeded in using my logitech harmony sending ir signal to a raspberry pi, that transforms the signal to the http command in your script, and voila my phanthom is remote volume controlled by my universal remote !!!! (using lirc and irexec) I have waitet for this ever since i got my phantom, and now i might buy more......

Thank you again for your work !

best regards Lars

Hey, Lars. Thanks for your reply. I´m pleased to hear that it worked well for you.

i was in a similar situation. everything here is controlled by a smarthome. i had no remotes and the devialet remote is quite frustrating.
Most of the time it wasnt working..

For sure. U can use this script as an adapter for that.

I got inspired after seeing this thread and buying an Apple TV 4K (since I could not get the volume control to work on the Apple TV remote); so I wrote an HDMI-CEC to UPNP bridge (well not that generic but...). In short I run the audio from the Apple TV through my TV and to the Dialog via optical but my setup is described more in this repo: https://github.com/twalther/phantom-hdmi-cec

Hi there,
I was looking for ages to get a Homebridge plugin for my Devialet and thanks to you, I've used your code to create a Homebridge Plugin that works like a charm !
My Brother did the code within a day, and I 'm glad to share it if someone else was in my situation :

https://www.npmjs.com/package/homebridge...let-bridge

Enjoy it and have fun Smile

Hi there.

In your Phantom-Bridge, you wrote :
"Note: The script doesnt read the volume from the devialet app at the moment. It´s just one-way communication."

Please, note that my brother did manage to get the current volume from the dialog and implement that in his Plugin Homebridge.
Feel free the join him if that can help you improve yours Smile

Nice to see im not the only one trying to get the phantoms integrated into smarthome Smile

I was wondering if anyone was able to control the phantoms using google home / alexa / apple homekit? Does anyone know if there are official plans to add support for anykind of these smarthome tools? Another way would be to get the phantom into Openhab2, but i could not find any source on how to do that.

Openhab would be no Problem. Just use the Bridge.
You can use the Phantoms by bluetooth with your google home devices.

Hi! I have two Phantoms connected to my TV via optical and would love to handle the volume with my NEEO remote. How can I do that? Is it an easy step by step installation within NEEO or do I need to do some coding myself in that case? Smile

Steven,

Most useful plugin. I've used it with my Homebridge setup and now with a HomePod it's working perfectly. Thanks
