Perhaps they'll make the Od'A 1000W (isn't there still only 650W PSU's inside it BTW?) through a firmware upgrade like already mentioned here: http://devialetchat.com/showthread.php?t...7#pid39877
I've bought but not yet been able to pickup my Od'A. Fingers crossed it's not obsolete before I plug it in for the first time....
I'll offer a tenner more than ozthepoz .......

- there's a new d1000 coming up soon. Whether this will come as a software update or hardware upgrade of the 800 or entirely new hardware he did not tell, but apparently it is going to be a dual setup.
- it's 'likely' that the release also contains a new firmware for all lines
- when asking about timeline he referred to the next 2 weeks.
That is consistent with the rumours that I have heard
Think that the more discerning among us will be pleasantly surprised.

That's a shame for those of us who are less discerning.

Sometime in June/July is more probable. And, I got a feeling most of my predictions will be true especially hardware & power improvements. AIR will be either In its next iteration or a total replacement. And, I believe someone guessed that DAC will be replaced. I think this is very likely, too. If the cost for the hardware upgrade is not too 'ridiculous' and improve the overall hardware, I wouldn't mind paying, too. New firmware release should be a given.

Let's just say that the dealers have details of, and have heard, whatever it is that is going to be launched. Worth waiting for. The engineers have been busy.

I heard September/October for the really big one.....
All I can hope is that the engineers have at least been busy doing something... Even if it's not what I would have wanted them to be doing.
