Firmware 8.0

The fact it doesn't work correctly is an error on their side and should be fixed. Or better yet, it would have been better if they postponed releasing the new version until it worked.

Don't think the O/P's link was a general release link.

The original link in this thread isn't, but most of us have been using the firmware downloaded from devialet.com I believe. I certainly have as I wouldn't trust firmware from a source other than Devialet (though creating a malware firmware would be an impressive feat).

Same here. After my configuration with SAM, I have only sound on one channel.

If I would be the software designer, I would worry about my job now.

This forum is an absolute godsend for me, without it I would have returned my 200 as I really struggled with the kit early on. Forum members took so much of their own time to help me and I will always be grateful to them.

Tomorrow I will be in Munich. I think it will be exciting what Devialet let us now about this embarrassment. Exciting if their expert lines will work with V8...

My apologies, Guillaume. I do not mean the forum as an entity which I generally find and interesting and sometimes very amusing place to visit.

I should have said the constant moaning and carping attitude shown which unfortunately seems to becoming more prevalent in todays instant gratification society.

Fantastic! Don't forget our meeting at 2pm on Friday 15th outside the Devialet room, accessible from the main Atrium.  Smile

So 7.1.3 BETA is much better than so called final 8.0:-)

Maybe BETA means in French WORKING;-)...

Question: can 8.0 be downgraded to 7.1.3? Seems like 7.1.3 is a working version.
