It's not about selling lacquers. That's just a way to get people to pay attention like claiming the Phantom has the world's best sound. It's about the mastering process for older recordings. I've listened to two Fondamenta recordings now -- the unfortunately titled In the Mood for Tuba (which is great) and the sublime piano recording of Tatiana Zelikman. They are some of the finest recordings I've heard (and very reasonably priced). But it's clearly about this novel remastering process they've used on the Navarra set, since Devialet is mentioned:

Hats off to Devialet for caring about reviving some of the world's great artists.

UPDATE: Now listening to the Navarra. Wow! His cello tone is magnificent. And the orchestral dynamics are outrageous!
