I usually prefer the AES input of the Devialet but with the SU-6 the optical input also sounds very good.
I upgraded from the older Singxer SU-1, and the SU-6 is noticeably better. Another friend found the same improvement upgrading from the SU-1 to SU-6, where he is using it between a Roon Nucleus and PS Audio Directstream DAC.
I've been using the SU-6 for a while now (2 years plus). However in spite of the 'galvanic USB isolation', it is *still* affected by the PC USB side.
Only last month, I found a miracle cure for the USB side - the FIBBR Alpha optical USB cable that I posted about in another thread. With that optical USB cable, I finally feel that the PC side is not negatively affecting the sound anymore.
