A USB on a NAS is not built only for audio use so I dont think Synology has put in more effort on that so a dedicaded streamer with USB or AES output that is built only for audio is in my opinion the best thing to use with a Devialet. Wrote: When I tested ROON a while ago and cancelled my trial I talked to ROON about things that will come in the future like machines without the need for a computer to run the core they hinted that 2016 would be a intresting year for me so I am looking forward to see what will come. Maybe a streamer with a full functional ROON inside
