Power supply issues?
#2
I have the same issue with mine but it is actually a PSU issue. For me it could be 2 minutes upon power up or 2 hours. But if I put my music over 50% it will cause Phantom to restart. Once it’s restarted the original time it won’t do it again unless I unplug it and power it up again.

Devialet also told me it is a PSU issue and in the logs it was throwing up errors. That’s cause for a full replacement.

The only way to run Phantom is raw into the wall. Or if using a power strip. Only two plugged into a single strip at once. So one outlet with the strip with only two Phantoms. A second wall outlet with a second strip for another two. And so on. Any more than that and they’ll draw too much power and restart to save themselves. Upon restarting they’ll reduce overall amplification power to prevent it happening again. Sometimes very noticeable and sometimes not.

Personally if I were running Gold Phantoms I would plug them both individually straight into the wall. They draw a considerable amount of power. Although it’s not necessary.

Don’t worry about surge protection or any line filtering. All of that is built into Phantom and also double slaved as the original power cables themselves have technology embedded to stop the surge at the cable and prevent the Phantom from dying.
