i do not like the effect of tone controls with the devialet.. especially the treble , even a 1/2 db lift in the treble seems to introduce an unpleasant sound.. hard to define , but my d prem sounds a lot better with the treble set to 0 .. its not digital clipping , its also not the system as i use minidsp over and above the devialet tone controls as it sounds better. Not sure why it should be so.
