Calling the E1 a rebranded S1-EX is way off the mark IMHO. They are different speakers. The SAM profile for the E1 has not been measured for the S1-EX so its no different than trying any of the other profiles for other speakers that don't match.
At low listening levels might be fun to try different profiles, but i wouldn't turn it up too much as you might push your speakers boundaries and damage them with the wrong profile.
